MESSI-NG UP THE RECORDS

So far Lionel Messi had scored 361 goals for Barcelona and he is not relenting.In complete whitewash of Grenada last weekend in Spanish La Liga, Messi scored a brace.In the match, he also played a role in almost all other goals scored.The fourth richest sport personality in June this year has become a phenomenon. He is fast turning to a legend in term of goals and ingenuous ability to play football.

Messi's 36oth goal for Barca came on Tuesday in a 2-3 loss away to PSG in UEFA champions League match.Neymar Junior scored the second goal. Today, in La Liga away to Rayo Vallecano, Barcelona won 2-0. Messi and Neymar scored one goal each in the first half with Messi bringing his total goals tally for Barca to 361.The win created a record for Barca as the only team in  La Liga history to go seven matches without conceding a goal. Barca are two points clear of Valencia on top of the log.The club has a total of 19 goals in 6 matches averaging 3 goals per match.Thirteen of those goals were shared between Messi and Neymar.Messi has netted 6 goals for Barcelona and 2 goals shy of  equaling Telmo Zarra's record of highest goal scorer in La Liga with 251 goals. With another 3 goals, Messi will equal Spanish Legend,Raul Gonzales record number of goals in UEFA Champions League.He will surely surpass this target and to set new record for himself and world football.Already he is the all time goal poacher for Barca.

Clearly, the only person that can stop this Argentine bundle of talent is himself.The amazing thing about him now is that he is playing for his team mates and they too  are playing for him.He creates chances and let other players score as well. A player who exhibits such good team spirit never lack passes that will make him score more goals.

With his sublime skills and that of Neymar,Barcelona tops the Spanish La League with 19 points after 7 games. I wonder what the team will be like when Luis Suarez joins them in El Classico on 25th of this month. Messi skills are out this world.He matures with age. At 27, he keeps doing what a 18 year old couldn't do with the ball.
