BUHARI CALLS FOR GEJ TO RESIGN.

During one of his press interview, Gen. Muhammad Buhari asked the president to resign for failing the nation and on his approach to Boko Haram insurgency.
I just couldn’t put it down to one particular reason why the retired General is bent on making himself a laughing stock. Nigeria needs at this critical period, genuine state men. Nigeria cannot survive both politically and economically if all we can do is just to criticize somebody. This blog is always critical of GEJ administration but understands as well that the criticism must be constructive for us to have a change. When we criticize and proffer solutions, we give government opportunity to hear the nation and options to follow.
On Boko Haram, he said many unprintable things but where was he when as an elder state man, North East was burning under the fire set by the insurgents. What did Buhari do during Maitatsine insurgents in Yola of early 80s while he was the Commander-In- Chief? I am not always happy the way we play our crude politics. Jonathan is not a good leader, almost all Nigerians are aware of this fact. But Buhari cannot be a good replacement for a wobbling GEJ. We don’t see each other as partners in progress in this nation, if we do, we will appreciate that if my opponent make a good move, I should commend. Party politics is what is killing this nation like corruption. Every party ones to be in power and truly they are in power just like PDP. The party cannot account for much achievement aside the fact that they are in power.
ACN is crying fouls over state of emergency to drive home the point that they are the opposition party. In fact there is no opposition to PDP. All the parties are no different in their methods and ideologies. True opposition will organize seminars, symposiums, educate electorates, and proffer options and solutions to burning national issues continuously so as to impress their positions on the masses. A true opposition will also acknowledge what the incumbent has done right to gain people from the other side. This will be an opportunity to emphasize reasons for your criticisms. We play politics with urgent national disaster as terrorism. It is a global problem and now it is our shores. we all must rally to send them back to where they come from. When terrorism festers it gain more abode, indoctrinates more and destroys all in its wake even its supporters.
Truly there is poverty of almost everything in this country. Do we still have men of honour?
