On June 12, we will remember late Chief MKO Abiola. Abiola won June 12, 1993 presidential election in Nigeria but was denied by the military under rulership of Ibrahim Gbadamosi Babangida.
Abacha as military head of state jailed him.Abacha expired in 1998 yet Abubakar Abdusalami refused to released him.He died in the bloody hands of Abdusalami with foreign collaborators. The chief executioner was Abacha errand boy, Al Mustapha.He had killed so many Nigerians for Abacha yet he was released recently.
We mourn Abiola daily and we will remember him for ever no matter the gang up UNILAG and the students who opposed the renaming of the school after Abiola. Abiola in his life was greater than a thousand UNILAG and their meaningless criticism. Unfortunately the school benefitted massively from Abiola.Some of the vociferous lecturers and past student were falling head over heels for crumbs at MKO's table when he was alive.Hmmmm
