The PDP started the campaign for
GEJ with those visits mentioned above when the party engaged youths and
market women from the president's geo-political zone to earnestly asked
for the president to run in 2015.Roll events back to 1995-1998 under
Abacha as military president,Daniel Kanu's achievement then will be
dwarfed by his accomplice of today.Daniel Kanu who formed with fund
provided by the dark goggled ruler, an infamous group called Youth
Earnestly Asked for Abacha-YEAA.He organized the one million -man match
at Eagle Square in Abuja.He was given millions of Naira to rent crowds
from all over Nigeria.Security agencies gave them free reign whereas any
gathering by pro-democracy groups were scattered by bombs,tear gas and arrests.Human right activists like late Chief Gani Fawehinmi, late Beko
Ransome-Kuti,Olisa Agbakoba,Femi Falana to mention a few were clamped
into jail and brutalized.
Is
event different today? No. Daniel Kanu is green with envy for not being invited as a veteran and for not coordinating all various groups
well.He would love to put them together under one PDP umbrella as a new
and refurbished group called YEAJA, Youth Earnestly Ask For Jonathan
Azikiwe.
It
will be beautiful and neat if Transformation Ambassadors of
Nigeria, Jonathanians, Goodluck Support Group, Protectors of Nigeria's
Posterity-PNP, Bring Back Jonathan - BBJ and PDP governors and others
dissolve into YEAJA.some called them Abacha boot lickers,sycophants
others called them goons.What do we call these ones?
