JONATHAN JUNKETS WHILE THE NATION MOURNS

inside the plane, many of those with President were looking at his ...
There is nothing on earth that will hamper the discreet campaign machinery of the president of Nigeria,Goodluck Ebele Jonathan if he decides to postpone his various trips due to the mood of the nation. The nation is in grief and families are mourning on daily basis following continued attacks from blood sucking Boko Haram. The event of Monday April 14,2014 is very fresh in our mind. The horror that followed the bombing has turned our dreams into nightmares. The usual comforting words from government cannot douse our trauma.Despite all these pains,GEJ went to Ibadan and Kano to continue his campaign on tay payers' money.

To say government is incentive is to under state the obvious.Blood is still dripping from the bodies of the victims who sustained high degree of injuries. Those who are dead are yet to be buried.People were cut down in their prime. These are tax payers whose money GEJ and his encourage are using to move from one state to another.Has PDP as a party become so used to bloodshed that recent deaths are insignificant?

General Election is in 2015.Political campaign should be either December or January 2015.I don't understand this party. The PDP should sit down with the Presidency and fashion out a strategy on our to end this violence. There are effective and efficient action of government whose success will be a campaign material on its own.

Yesterday morning, a female hostel in Borno state was invaded. Not less than 140 young girls were kidnapped by Boko-Haram.They were taken away without traces and all our security chiefs can mutter was a threat that the abductors should bring back the girls. The military are in Borno state.Government is saying they are winning the war and Boko-Haram is having upper hand. There is no how the presidency wouldn't have been briefed on the case of these girls as commander-in chief of armed forces, yet he went after the mission that is important to him than Nigerians.

A people deserves the type of leaders they have is a popular phrase.Do we deserve all these rulers?
