The period of pains is a period of comforts from those around us.It is a period we seek shoulder to lean.Globally, this is an acceptable unwritten code of conduct.I was shell shocked to PDP spokesperson, Olisa Metuh said that recent mindless killings in Abuja on Monday,April 14, 2014 was the handiwork of the opposition,the APC.
The statement is unwarranted and borne out of desperation.Only an escapist will talk like this.One of the cardinal principle of making good speech is to think before you talk.This is not to hold forth for APC, I think PDP is looking for a scapegoat for its poor leadership style.It is a marked sign of failure to blame your opponents for every action and inaction of yours.However, the statement might be borne out of the fact that some prominent members of the APC had blurted in the past that they will make Nigeria ungovernable for GEJ,this is beside the point.If the PDP have evidence they should inform all arms of our securities to take action.
This period is one of the most challenging in our history.We have forces who want to destabilize us.We will not allow them.We must stay united and focused.We all must be involved in the fight against terrorism.Comments that are laced with ethnicity and religious sentiment should be avoided.The APC accusing Presidency and the PDP of lack of will power to provide security is in bad blood.PDP statement that the APC is behind bombings is unfounded,diversionary and will give our common enemies more rooms to operate.This is a fight for all us. United,we will triumph.
