ALL HELL BREAKS LOOSE IN EKITI STATE

In the last one week Ekiti state has been turned upside down by hoodlums.Twice within one week procedings at an Ekiti high court and election petition tribunal were disrupted in a gangster manner. It is unfortunate that  a state that boasts of well educated and knowledgeable citizens will turn this bad.

It is saddening to see that in Ekiti state, a sitting judge was assaulted by thugs. It was even alleged that the assault was carried out in the presence of Ayodele Fayose who was voted  as new governor few months ago.If this is true, then anarchy has returned to the state confirming the fears that peace is likely to wander from the fountain of knowledge for some time to come.

The latest now is that someone had been killed and there is  heavy presence of security agencies in Ekiti especially Ado-Ekiti, the state capital. There are accusations and counter accusations from both PDP and APC in Ekiti state over who were responsible for the myriads of violence.Governor Kayode Fayemi had declared curfew from 7pm to 7am in Ekiti state.
