GEJ AND 1$bn SECURITY LOAN : CARING FOR COMPATRIOTS IN THE NORTH

The examinations reports of those abducted girls are out and for whom.Please ask those market women in Borno, Yobe and Adamawa whether they can go to markets without fear.Please, I will like to know how many banks are in North Eastern part of Nigeria now. Please, imagine what it will be like for a bomb to go off in a bus terminal somewhere in a place like Lagos.Some will say God forbid! So which is wise, to use what we can afford to quell this our national nightmare once and for all or keep that money since we have spent enough on defence?

Some Nigerians do not like to face reason and we allow politics and poor judgement befuddle our thinking. People like to argue for arguing sake. I was close to tears seeing on TV fellow citizens living in squalid condition and under inclement weather because boko haram displaced them from their homes.Fair demand that we use all means possible to destroy boko haram.We must decimate them. It is a good thing Nigerian government has declared total war on them to save our country and keep us together as one.No Nigerian deserve to become a refugee in this country.We should give it whatever it takes.Our military are up to the task.

In closing, it has been stated that the loan is to be dedicated fully to acquisition of war armament.The armament will be purchased under agreement with supplying nations and the maximum limits is the $1bn requested.The national assembly should be  allowed to monitor the transactions or review same from time to time.An inquiry into all the spending  can be undertaken after desired peace has returned to this great country.

NSM does not support and will not support any political party or government but to reveal what we see and feel on news items around the world.The only thing that is set to destabilize Nigeria currently is boko haram.The sect and the ilk must be consigned to history now.The blood shed is too much.If we fail to use all we have to do that now, we will fail not only our children, but put our destiny in jeopardy
