DEFECTION : TAMBUWAL IS NO LONGER THE SPEAKER 2

Inasmuch as I don't want to talk about the governors defecting, national assembly members defecting irresponsibly will affect Nigeria compared with the states.However if there is a way to check governors and others from defection as they wish, we should do it.

It was equally annoying to see people calling APC the opposition party. PDP is not different from APC.The choice between the two is the choice between 6 and half of a dozen.Why is APC pot calling PDP kettle black? The qualities of an opposition party are many and APC has not shown any except passing snide remarks at the presidency. Do we call abusing the president on pages of paid newspapers and TV stations as qualities of a good opposition party? A good opposition party will always educate the electorates, give them alternatives to policies and programmes of the incumbent.The fight against incumbent will be on ideology not abuse.The opposition party will use their control in states where they are elected a plat form to showcase what they intend to do when in power at the centre.

Back to Tambuwal, he has gone to court to seek redress.This is good for democracy.Let us wait and see the interpretation of the courts.The recent events in our political landscape has shown that all our politicians are rudderless.When they cook up all these political abracadabra, you think they are doing it for the masses? No. It is for their selfish agenda.Since 1999 what have we gained from PDP led government? As I write,i do so in darkness on my smartphone.Power is a big problem.PHCN bills are going up while power supply is close too zero.Government cannot save us from Shylock PHCN who increases bills every month without consumption.The roads are terrible. APC governors are small gods in their states and you wonder what they will do at the centre if they gain control.If you ask me to choose between the two parties, I will ask you to choose between the devil and the deep blue sea.
